Glory of Getting Up Early in Morning

 Because it's crucial to set the tone for the day, Ayurveda places a lot of emphasis on the morning hours. 









 



According to Ayurveda, routines are a form of physical and mental discipline that boost immunity and rid the body from waste. Simple healthy practises can help you cleanse your body and mind, balance your doshas, boost your immunity, and begin each day in a revitalising and energising manner.

 

Simple morning routines will give you a happy start to the day. Here are some tips for a stimulating morning.

1. Brahma muhurta (ब्रह्म मुहूर्त)


To align with the rhythm of the sun, it is worthwhile to get up an hour and a half or 48 minutes before sunrise. Brahma Muhurta, which literally translates to "the time of Brahma...pure consciousness," is considered an auspicious time to rise in the morning according to Ayurveda.

Best time to rise in morning is between 2 am to 3:00 am and maximum one should leave his/her bed by 4:00 am in morning followed by a miraculous drink of Luke warm water (500 ml to 1 Litre).

A significant energy shift occurs an hour and a half before sunrise and permeates the space. Then, around 48 minutes before sunrise, there is another energy surge that enters the atmosphere. At this moment, peace, inspiration, and hope are evident. This period is thought to be ideal for Bahram-Gyan (introspective meditation), discovering the truth, and experiencing everlasting joy.

This time is the best time to learn and grab more knowledge as freshness of mind is at its peak.



2. Breath Process and its Power

Determine which nostril you breathe more vigorously through. The right nostril is "Solar-Pitta", whereas the left is "Lunar-Kapha", according to Ayurveda. The left half of the brain governs logical language function, whereas the right side governs creative activity. According to studies, the right half of the brain predominates when breathing from the left nostril, and vice versa.


3. Clean/Refresh Yourself

Use cold water to rinse. Water never irritates delicate tissues since it is an good conductor. Use cold water to wash your hands, face, and eyes. Clean your mouth, teeth, tongue, and nose. Refresh yourself.


4. Take Bathe 

  Best Water to bathe in is one which is  neither too hot nor too cold. Use less soap or you can avoid soap which will impact your skin adversely.

5. Breakfast Time 


Eat healthier and good in nutrition food in your breakfast. Take 250 ml- 350 ml milk in morning which help you to feel full and energetic. Never skip your breakfast.


6. Afternoon Routine

Given the fact that the peak period for digestion is between 12 and 1 pm, lunch should be consumed then.  The heaviest meal of the day, according to Ayurveda, should be midday meal. It is advisable to walk after eating at least 100 steps which improves your digestion. Ayurveda forbids daytime sleep, thus anything more than a little nap should be avoided.

7. Sandhya Time

This particular period of harmony between day and night is unique. The time for evening prayers and meditations is at this juncture. This is the best to sit in peace and mediate for internal health and peace. also good for mental well being.

8. Dinner Time

Around 6-7 pm and maximum up to 7:30pm is  the right time when dinner should be eaten. It has to be less filling than lunch. The body needs at least three hours to digest a meal, therefore it should be eaten 3-4 hours before going to bed. Avoid falling asleep right after dinner despite having a full stomach. For 10 to 15 minutes, take a walk to help with digestion.


9. Sleep

The best  time to sleep is by 9:30 pm - 10:00 pm. You should keep your gadgets like mobile, tab, laptops far from you when you go to bed.
